Youth With A Mission

YWAM's logo over the years, the one to the right is the current.

Youth with a mission is a organisation started in 1960 with the purpose of getting young people into missions. Shortly after the beginning of the organisation they realised that they would get no where if they didn't start training people. Now YWAM has it's own unreconised university. It's called "university of the nations"

The DTS (Disciple Training School) is the base school. It's 3 months of teachings and 3 months of outreach (an outreach is a short mission trip) The first 3 months can be compared with a danish bible school like IMB or LMH, but the last 3 months are very pratical using what you learn in the first months.

YWAM has alot of different secundary schools, these are for people more serious in YWAM who eighter want to go after an degree from the university, or who just want personal growth. There are manny different types of scecondary school all the way from learning about the bible tocommunity development with things like learning about planting brocoli or building a stove from bricks.
